Vagon, in the stretched out basement of Metro Palác, is Vagon Club is located in the basement of Palác Metro right on Národní třída (National Avenue), carries the flag for rock & roll in Prague. The venue puts on concerts (usually starting at 21:00) almost every night with bands ranging from well-known underground outfits to rock god cover bands. From 23:00 Vagon’s “rockoteque” takes over with a dance floor packed with locals, expats and foreigners alike. DJs play everything from Indie, to blues and classic rock. Rock Cafe, a major concert venue, is just across the street and many concertgoers hop over to Vagon when concerts end.
